TAR.GZ file. It contains a compressed folder that can be uncompressed in the disk. Using the command:
tar -xzvf /home/username/compressedfile.tar.gz
the contents of the file "compressedfile.tar.gz" will be extracted into the current directory. After that, it is ready for use by just executing Lognoter.
Installer. This is a Debian installer that will guide you through all the installation process. Lognoter .DEB package can be also used in distributions based on Debian, such as Ubuntu and others. Using the graphical interface is enough to double click the package to launch the installer. To install Lognoter through the command line, become root and use the command:
DMG file. This is a beta version available for MACOSX Leopard on Intel. Double-click the .DMG file to open it up and 'drag and drop' the Lognoter application's icon into your "Applications" directory. We shall appreciate your feedback in order to improve the version.
